Lone Star Drone Racing Camp is about hands-on learning, innovation and discovery. Learn valuable STEAM and drone flight skills, including Coding, Agility, FPV (First Person View) video, Racing and Safety. Come make friends and become a junior elite drone pilot. This one-of-a-kind educational camp is for anybody and everybody. No experience needed, great memories guaranteed! RACE

Ready yourself with preparedness and understanding. Learn the basics of aviation engineering, with an introduction to drone theories and the science behind drones. Become familiar with safety procedures and FAA rules and guidelines.

Get set to learn by doing with hands-on activities. Make your own UAV Quadrotor Racing Drone or Multirotor Drone. Learn how to mount, assemble and test UAV systems.

Go take flight! Practice flying your drone with basic air exercises and maneuvers. Learn the basic control of a transmitter and how it works. Master takeoff, hovering and landing. Assemble flight teams to compete in special missions, obstacle courses and FPV (First Person View) racing.

Junior Pilot Racers Camp 2021

Enjoy learning aerospace engineerng through the newest spectator sport of drone racing! This year-round program for ages 11 to adult, builds invaluable STEM skills, while developing the art of quadcopter FPV (First Person View) competitive racing. Learn the science behind what makes drones fly, build your own quadcopter racer, master high-performance maneuvers and learn how to film professional looking footage from your drone. Work with a staff of caring educators and industry professionals who share your love for exploration and the future of flight. Participants fly drones and even create flight teams to compete in obstacle course races. Our programs are great for parents to learn alongside their children and for school group sessions.
