Barbering Fundamentals: Male Hair Cutting
This course is suitable for students currently enrolled in barber/beauty school, newly licensed professionals and experienced barbers looking to brush up on their skills. It includes an insight into the latest trends in men’s hairdressing and how these can be adapted to suit different hair textures and customers. It is a practical, entry level course that will help build confidence of men’s barbering techniques. Examples of techniques include clipper cutting & fading, free hand cutting, blending and texturizing of the hair. Students can expand their skills further by completing our Advanced Barbering and Hair Art course.
Barbering Fundamentals: Fast Track Barbering
This Barbering Course provides a faster route for current barber school students and newly graduated professionals interested in sharpening their skills before, during, & after being hired to work in a shop. It is specifically designed to provide students with an intensive accelerated curriculum in which they will learn the necessary practical and theoretical skills to either work in a barber shop, or become a freelance men’s hairdresser. Students will I learn the following: Health and Safety, Creating a Positive Personal and Organisational Impression, Understanding effective customer service, Understanding organisational standards, Advising and Consulting with Clients, Shampooing, Conditioning and Treating the Hair and Scalp, Massage techniques for shampoo and conditioner, Facial Hair Cutting Techniques, Drying and Finishing Men’s Hair and Creating Basic Patterns in Hair. Students can take their advanced skills and apply them to clients right away using their Platform Artist USA certificate.
Barbering Fundamentals For Stylists
This advanced barbering course is for those that already have women’s hairdressing experience and are looking to expand their knowledge into men’s barbering. The course aims to push the students learning to a more advanced techniques incorporating the latest styles, looks and trends. This course includes: Introduction of professional barbering tools and their uses, a variety of clipper techniques, Free hand cutting techniques, Blending and texturizing of the hair and facial hair cutting techniques. Students can take their advanced skills and apply them to clients right away using their Platform Artist USA certificate.
Advanced Barbering & Hair Art
This advanced barbering course is perfect for entry-level and seasoned professionals who would like to enhance their range of abilities to cut men’s hair and take their skills to the next artistic level. The advanced course is tailored around you and your skill level so lessons are adapted accordingly. This course includes: Advanced clipper techniques, Advanced free hand cutting techniques, Fashion and trend barbering techniques, Advanced Fading techniques, Advanced drawing & sketching designs, Advanced hair & facial hair coloring techniques, Blending and texturizing of the hair. Students can take their advanced cutting and coloring skills and apply them to clients right away using their Platform Artist USA certificate.
