Instructor/Educator Substitute  & Part-Time Teacher Program

There is a need for substitute instructors and part-time instructors in the Beauty & Barber Schools almost on a daily basis. Platform Artist USA recognized the demand, and it  has allowed us to implement our new Instructor/Educator Substitute & Part-time Teacher Program. This Advanced Training and Employment program is open to all Professionals who hold a valid Instructor Operator License in their designated State. As a Teacher on our team, you will learn to create a vocational, technical, and academic environment that provides students the opportunity to maximize their learning potential and achieve or enhance an ability to perform vocational tasks, while striving to achieve your personal best by helping others. Teachers employed with participating Beauty/Barber Institutions will be required to know and do the following:

• Provide instruction to students for various skills through classroom instruction, demonstration and practical excercises.

• Supervise students performing detailed cosmetology/barber skills.

• Supervise students performing client services during lab hours.

• Maintain records including testing, attendance and general record keeping.

• Asses educational needs of students, developing lesson plans to address those needs to include individualized assignments and training.

• Provide relief for full-time faculty during absences,  lunch breaks, office hours and classroom preparation time.

• Respond to and cooperate with state inspections by providing required student data in the absence of full-time faculty.

• Counseling students concerning their performance, behavior and personal problems.

• Responsibility for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.
